Some new gear

When I got the bike out of 29 years of storage last year, I just drug out my old riding gear. As the new riding season is quickly approaching, I treated myself to some new stuff!…

This site is my own personal bike journal for lack of a better description.

It includes maintenance and fuel records along with some general rambling about my current biking activities.

I started riding almost 50 years ago when I was just 13. Before we had children, my wife and I, would take weekend and vacation trips on the bikes. At one time she was evening learning to ride on her own.

Unfortunately she developed health issues and the bikes went into storage for about 30 years.

In 2017 I started working to get them "Back on the road again..." It had been so long, I had forgotten the pure joy of riding!

Now I'm trying to make up for lost time before I'm too old to enjoy the thrill of the open road.
