Went for a ride last Tuesday, trying to get in some riding time before the weather turns here in central Ohio, and had a flat rear tire. When I’m just riding around the home place, I don’t carry tire repair tools and such, so I got on the phone to AAA.
I couldn’t find anything wrong with the tire or tube, but since I had ridden them both perhaps just a bit too far in an under-inflated condition, I replaced both. The odometer is showing 15750 miles for the new rubber.
With limited riding time left this year, I should be all set for next season!
