Our Ohio weather this March was outstanding! I got in 11 bike rides of over 50 miles. Most of the rides were on local back roads just taking in the early spring scenery.
Not much green around this time of the year, but with no crops blocking the view, many old barns and out building are visible.
It used to be that every farm had at least one big barn, but not many farmers have live stock any more and don’t have need for the barns. Most have fallen into disrepair and been replaced with new steel building to house equipment.
At any rate, it was great to be able to spend so much time out on the bike this early in the year. Last year, while it was warm enough, was very wet and most warmer days were a wash out as far as riding went.
It looks as if the nice weather is going to continue into April as well. Fingers crossed.
